Lucknow: In a drive against drug peddlers, the Ambedkarnagar police arrested two persons with 7.5 kg ganja from Kurki Bazaar area under the Sammanpur police station on Monday.
Those arrested were identified as Ashok Yadav and Umashankar Rajbhar. On Wednesday photos of Yadav with president of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) OP Rajbhar went viral. When contacted. national chief spokesperson, SBSP, Arun Rajbhar said that Yadav was removed from the party about two years back.
Circle officer, City, Suresh Mishra said that the two were arrested under NDPS Act and sent to jail.
