This is the sixth time that stone pelting incident took place on Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express, due to which a window of C-6 coach of the train was damaged. The incident was confirmed by Rekha Sharma, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, Lucknow, who said an investigation is being conducted by GRP and RPF. This incident is the sixth such attack in the last 4 months. The train, which was launched in July, has repeatedly suffered window damage due to stone pelting incidents.
