Hong Kong police on Thursday arrested 10 people on suspicion of endangering national security. Those arrested are alleged to have had involvement in a now-defunct fund that aimed to help those arrested during pro-democracy protests in 2019. Police said the four men and six women are suspected of conspiracy to collude with the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund to receive foreign donations and provide financial support to people fleeing Hong Kong or to organizations calling for sanctions against the city.
