The Supreme Court on Monday put a stop to any further investigation into illegal appointments within the Staff Selection Commission. This decision, taken under the direction of India’s Chief Justice, comes amidst ongoing legal proceedings regarding controversial appointments. Chief Justice Divay Chandrachud and Justice JB Pardiwala’s bench stated that they would hear the case on May 6th.
