Prayagraj: A sensational incident of honor killing has come to light in the Yamunanagar area. Coercing the daughter into a court marriage pretext, her family brought her to Lalapur area and killed her. They tried to obscure her identity by disfiguring her face. After finding the body, the police, with the help of the lover, apprehended the family members involved in the murder. During interrogation, they admitted to the honor killing, leading to the arrest of both (grandparents). A bike and a stone with bloodstains, used in the murder, were also recovered.
