Lt Gen Ajai Kumar Singh inaugurated a learning centre and gymnasium in Apshinge ‘military village’, Satara to facilitate training and recruitment in the Indian Armed Forces. The village has a history of serving the Armed Forces and aims to encourage children to pursue a career in the same.
