Sensex Opening Bell: After a record high for the whole week, the stock market registered a tremendous decline on the last trading day. In early trade on Friday, the Sensex fell by 638.52 (0.94%) points to reach a level of 66,933.38 points.

The market started with heavy selling on the last trading day of the week. After a record high for the whole week, the market recorded a tremendous decline on the last trading day. In early trade on Friday, the Sensex fell by 638.52 (0.94%) points to reach a level of 66,933.38 points. On the other hand, there was a big decline in Nifty and it fell below the level of 19850 by breaking 143.40 (0.72%) points. On Friday, the rupee weakened by 11 paise to reach a level of Rs 82.04 against the dollar.
