India and Japan on Thursday explored ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of defense equipment and technology, besides cooperation in critical and emerging technologies such as semiconductors.
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and his Japanese counterpart Yoshimasa Hayashi stressed the key role of a strong and enduring partnership between India and Japan in ensuring a free, independent and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
