During the inspection, Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) director Yudhveer Singh, CEO Ankit Chatterjee and other officials were present. The delegation started the inspection of Ekana Stadium at around 6 pm which lasted for more than three hours. Along with the pitch and outfield, inspected all the facilities including media center, players’ dressing room, dining hall, gym, conditioning. The broadcasting team inspected the stadium while watching the live telecast of the match. All the team members were very happy with the world class facilities present in Ikana. The team described the facilities at Ikana as excellent. Ekana Stadium has got the hosting of five matches of the World Cup for the first time. The match between India and champions England on 29 October is also included.
