In a small town of Mohanlalganj, located in Lucknow, an incident caused a stir at the local Community Health Center (CHC). A furious daughter-in-law (Aashabahu) expressed her anger when no action was taken against a doctor despite her complaints.
The doctor in question had allegedly misbehaved with the aggrieved patient, leaving her distressed and frustrated. Unable to bear the lack of response from the authorities, she resorted to locking the gate of the OPD building in protest.
The news of the incident spread like wildfire, prompting the intervention of the local police. Their primary objective was to pacify the irate Aashabahu and resolve the situation peacefully.
The Aashabahu firmly accused the doctor of being disrespectful and physically assaulting her, and she demanded appropriate action to be taken against him. Meanwhile, the doctor’s supporters rallied to protect him, claiming that he was being framed to save the reputation of the CHC.
Despite the Aashabahu filing a formal complaint against the doctor four days ago, no case had been registered, adding to her frustration. The situation remained tense as authorities continued their investigation to bring about a fair resolution to the Thappad Incident at Mohanlalganj CHC.
