A legislator faced the consequences of parking in a no-parking zone. Police in Aligarh had towed his car. Despite his political clout, the MLA’s protests were in vain as a fine was imposed. The car was lifted by a crane to a towing point. After depositing a fine of ₹1,100 for parking violation, the legislator’s car was released.
