The local stock market declined for the second consecutive day on Friday and the BSE Sensex was in loss of more than 365 points. The market declined due to losses in HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank amid negative trend in Asian and European markets.
The sentiment in the market remains weak following the announcement of monetary policy review by the Reserve Bank of India and sudden withdrawal of excess cash from banks.
