All schools and colleges closed
In view of the closure of roads and the current situation, educational institutions have had to be closed for 14 August. Roads have also been affected due to excess water filling in canals and drains. At many places the roads have been closed due to falling of rocks. Around 250 buses of the Road Transport Corporation are stranded. Several villages in Mandi are submerged and districts like Shimla, Solan, Bilaspur and Sirmaur have suffered a lot due to landslides. There is still no respite from the weather. In such a situation, there is a possibility of heavy rain at many places on August 15 as well. An alert has also been issued in 10 districts
