After the rapid transformation of Balia railway station, it is now set for the commencement of new development projects. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate these initiatives on Sunday at 9 AM. Under the AMRIT (Ambitious Modernization of Railways and Stations for Transformation) scheme, he will present a 40 crore rupee gift to the station. The plan aims to make the railway station more alluring and majestic. It includes the construction of an attractive secondary entrance, expansion of modern amenities, and the development of approach roads on both sides of the station. This effort is geared towards enhancing the station’s appeal and making it a more comfortable and convenient hub for passengers.
