In a surprising turn of events, a youth fooled the police for two days in Rae Bareli with a fabricated kidnapping tale. Inspired by a crime TV show, he staged his own disappearance, but was caught by police at Prayagraj Railway Station. The youth’s plan was driven by fear of losing 30,000 rupees.
