There is good news for the passengers traveling by roadways relief on Raksha Bandhan festival. The State Road Transport Corporation has stepped up preparations for the heavy rush of passengers and for smooth and safe travel for women and sisters. This time the Transport Corporation has prepared a blueprint to run about four thousand additional buses across the state on Raksha Bandhan. In this, more than 500 buses will be operated from Lucknow region. Additional buses will ply on all routes and women will be given the benefit of free travel.
Passengers will be able to take tickets from the ticket counter
Passengers will be able to book tickets online for AC buses and from ticket counters for ordinary buses. Apart from this, additional conductors will also be deployed in these buses for the safety of women during the journey. The coming 30th August is the festival of Raksha Bandhan. The state government is preparing to give a big gift of free travel to women and sisters this time too. In fact, the UP government will provide two days free bus travel facility for women on Raksha Bandhan festival this year.
