A significant political development emerges from Uttar Pradesh. BSP supremo Mayawati expelled Imran Masood from the party on charges of indiscipline. Last year, on October 19, Imran Masood joined the party and was appointed as BSP’s coordinator in Western UP. However, he was removed due to his involvement in anti-party activities and lack of discipline. Imran Masood, a former MLA, had been given the responsibility of being a coordinator in BSP’s Saharanpur district unit. His expulsion has been confirmed by BSP’s General Secretary Mevalal. Notably, Imran Masood might contest the Lok Sabha elections from Saharanpur, UP. It is rumored that he recently met Rahul Gandhi in Delhi.
