Impersonator Arrested for Falsely Claiming Involvement in Chandrayaan-3 Mission

Law enforcement authorities have apprehended an individual working as a private tutor on allegations of assuming the identity of a scientist from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and providing media interviews in Surat. The individual claimed to have designed the lander module for the upcoming Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission, according to officials.

The suspect, identified as Mitul Trivedi, aged in his late 30s, purportedly pretended to be an ISRO scientist to attract a higher number of students to his tutoring services in Surat, located in the state of Gujarat.

Officials confirmed that the arrest of Mitul Trivedi took place on Tuesday in the city.
