Lucknow: A 27-year-old youth identified as Pankaj Yadav, a resident of Hasanpur Korari village was allegedly shot dead by his friend inside a private clinic under the limits of Tharwai police station here on Wednesday morning. The accused identified as Rohit Yadav of same village is on run. The accused, a quack by profession, was running a private clinic in Tharwari area.
Upon being alerted, senior police officials including DCP ( Ganga Nagar) Abhishek Bharti along with forensic experts and police forces rushed the spot and carried out investigation. The deceased’s father was a sub-inspector in police force and is currently posted at Varanasi district. Bharti told that two police teams have been dispatched to ensure the arrest of accused. He, however said, “Initial police investigation revealed that there was a monetary dispute between slain youth and his friend (quack) over Rs 5000.”
On Wednesday, slain youth reached the private clinic of his friend had heated arguments over Rs 5000 meant for purchasing a mobile. The scene took an ugly turn when heated arguments led to killing of Pankaj Yadav on the spot. After killing Pankaj, the accused escaped from his clinic. Body has been sent for post mortem.
