Yediyurappa announced on Friday, September 8th, that the BJP will form an alliance with JD(S), led by former PM H.D. Deve Gowda, for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This announcement has caused political turmoil in the state. He stated that under the electoral alliance, JD(S) will contest on four Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka.
