The GST team conducted a 48-hour campaign on Tuesday and Wednesday, revealing cases of fraud. Confiscated goods were being sent to fake firms in Bihar and Jharkhand. Recovery will now be made from firms that have already availed crores of rupees in ITC benefits. It’s worth mentioning that inspection campaigns were also carried out in various locations in addition to the Gorakhpur zone in May.
