Congress Set to Launch ‘Jan Aakrosh’ Yatra to Protest Madhya Pradesh Government’s Alleged Failures

The Congress party has announced the commencement of the ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ on September 19, covering all 230 assembly segments in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh. Senior leaders of the party, including Kamal Nath, MP Congress chief, and Randeep Singh Surjewala, AICC in-charge for the state, made this announcement during a press conference.

During the conference, the leaders voiced their concerns, alleging widespread corruption under the BJP government. They contended that the government had failed in addressing issues related to unemployment, as well as crimes against women and Dalits. Surjewala highlighted that approximately 250 scams had taken place during the BJP government’s 225-month tenure in Madhya Pradesh. The leaders asserted that public dissatisfaction with the 18-year rule of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had transformed into widespread public anger, which is driving the ‘Jan Aakrosh’ campaign.

The ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ is expected to be a significant event in Madhya Pradesh’s political landscape as it aims to highlight the alleged failures and shortcomings of the current government.
