A shocking case of fraud involving 30 lakh rupees has come to light in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. A resident of the Rohata police station area fell victim to a scam in which he paid 30 lakh rupees to a Loni-based businessman under the pretext of refunding a trapped amount of 99 lakh rupees to the GST department. Following orders from IG Nachiketa Jha, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
