The Supreme Court has rejected the Delhi government’s decision to impose a ban on the use of firecrackers in Delhi during Diwali. The apex court has also dismissed a petition demanding the use of barium in the manufacture and use of fireworks. The central government and fireworks manufacturers had sought approval for their production.
