Voting for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections has concluded, and the results for all four central posts – president, vice-president, secretary, and joint secretary – are scheduled to be announced on Saturday.

In a recent update, Professor Chander Shekhar, the chief election officer for the polls, disclosed that the university witnessed a voter turnout of 42 percent. Comparatively, in the 2019 elections, the voter turnout was 39.90 percent. In previous years, the voter turnout stood at 44.46 percent in 2018 and 42.8 percent in 2017.
