was formally inducted as a member of the Uttarakhand Assembly on Saturday. Speaker Ritu Khanduri administered the oath to Dass during a ceremony at the Vidhan Sabha. The event was attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, cabinet members Premchand Agarwal and Saurabh Bahuguna, as well as state BJP president Mahendra Bhatt. Dass secured victory in the by-elections held earlier this month, defeating Congress’s Basant Kumar.
