Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to embark on a one-day visit to Chhattisgarh, where he will participate in the Awas Nyay Sammeelan (ANS) event held in Thakhatpur Tehsil of Bilaspur district. During his visit, he will also dedicate various public development projects valued at several crores of rupees.
Travel Plans Clarified
Initially, there were reports suggesting that Rahul Gandhi would travel from Raipur to Bilaspur by train after arriving at Raipur airport. However, the Chhattisgarh Congress unit later clarified that he would not be taking a train.
This situation arose after Chief Minister Baghel commented in the media that it was advisable for Rahul Gandhi to travel by road due to the continuous cancellations and excessive delays of trains. Despite this, Congress had initially stated that he would travel by train.
