On Thursday, Central Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari stated that the Central Government is working towards a policy to make all national highways ‘pothole-free’ by the end of this year. During a press conference addressing several initiatives of his ministry, he mentioned that they have decided on a large-scale construction of roads under the BOT model.
