In Vijayanagar district of Karnataka, a collision between a truck and a passenger vehicle on Monday resulted in the death of at least seven people, with three others sustaining severe injuries. This information was confirmed by the police. The incident occurred on the outskirts of Hospet city, within the jurisdiction of the Mariyammanahalli police station. Police stated that the accident happened due to the failure of the lorry’s brakes.
