The Bihar government has become stern about illegal land encroachments. Stringent actions will be taken against squatters, and preparations for imposing hefty fines are underway. Sanjay Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Building Construction Department, has been entrusted with the responsibility. It has come to light that there are significant illegal land encroachments on government land in the new capital area of Patna.
