Pithoragarh: A prominent city in the state of Uttarakhand, serving as the gateway to the Himalayas. Nestled in the beautiful Sor Valley, it is located to the north of Almora district and shares its eastern border with the neighboring country, Nepal. Pithoragarh is also known as ‘Mini Kashmir’ and is surrounded by lush Shankudhari forests, with a rich abundance of pine, cedar, and oak trees.
