CG Election 2023: Congress Surprises with Candidate List. Out of the 83 seats announced so far, Congress has taken a gamble by fielding new faces in 27 constituencies for the first time. In the initial list, the party has named eight candidates, while ten more feature in the second list. Notably, the party has given the opportunity to a total of 14 female candidates in the list released so far.
