The princely states may have ended, but the traditions of the princely times continue in Gwalior even today. An example of this is the Scindia family in Gwalior. Dussehra was celebrated on Monday. Jyotiraditya Scindia performed Shami puja in royal attire. He also held a royal court in his palace. After this Jyotiraditya Scindia said that there should be happiness and peace in my country and state. I wish there should be happiness in life. Also, like Vasudev family, peace and tranquility should prevail in my country.
