Asha Parekh said on this occasion, ‘Amjad (Khan) Bhai founded the Cine Artist Welfare Trust in 1991. Amrish Puri worked very hard for this. Whenever I had to go to some minister for land, Amrish Bhai used to come to my house at seven in the morning and take me along with him to the minister. We had to struggle a lot to get this place. Once we got the land, we organized several programs to collect money. I am very happy today.’
