Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday alleged that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government in Telangana has “betrayed” Dalits, backward classes, tribals, minorities and the poor. He claimed that the state government will have to pay a heavy price in the upcoming assembly elections for “disempowering” the weaker sections. Kharge’s statement came after a 30-year-old Dalit youth allegedly committed suicide in Telangana.
