An official of Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) said that people who wish to burst firecrackers on Diwali night can do so for two hours from 8 pm to 10 pm on Sunday.
A JSPCB official said that similar permission will be given on Gurupurva, Chhath, Christmas and New Year, but the duration may be different.
