The Editors Guild of India has announced its new executive committee. Senior journalists Ashutosh, Ayaz Memon, Jayant Mathew are in the committee. Jyoti Malhotra, Kumkum Chaddha, NK Singh, Om Thanvi, and Nirmal Pathak have been included. Jaan Dayal and Harish Khare have been included as special invitees. Former president Alok Mehta, Hari Jai Singh, Raj Chengappa, Ramoji Rao, Shekhar Gupta and Seema Mustafa will be the ex-officio members. The role of senior journalists associated with digital media has increased in the team, which is like getting better acceptance of digital media in this high level organization.
