The United States has granted all necessary approvals related to this. Dr. Samir V. Kamat, Chairman of DRDO, stated, “The production of the first two squadrons of LCA Mark 2 with engines and indigenous Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft will be carried out in collaboration with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and the American company General Electric. The United States has approved all aspects related to this.
