Construction work on the first Hindu temple in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, is underway. On Wednesday, the installation of sacred kalashes (ceremonial urns) took place atop each of the temple’s seven spires. The inauguration of Abu Dhabi’s first traditional Hindu stone temple is scheduled for February 14, 2024. According to reports, construction on the BAPS Hindu temple in the UAE began in December 2019.
