He said that undoubtedly, there is a big difference between writers like Padmanabhan and political leaders like him (Rahul Gandhi). The Congress leader said, “It is very easy for Padmanabhan to speak the truth as compared to politicians. This is something he has done all his life without exception.” Rahul, the Wayanad MP, also urged leaders to aspire to be like writers, who speak whatever truth comes to their mind. However, Gandhi acknowledged that this was a very “difficult task”.
