Despite the increasing cases of suicides among students preparing for various entrance exams in Kota, where nearly 2.50 lakh coaching students are preparing away from their homes, there is a significant shortage of psychologists to address mental health issues. This year, 26 students studying in coaching institutes in Kota have committed suicide, marking the highest number in a single year for students taking their lives in the city.
