Farmers had already announced a complete blockade at the authority on January 2nd. This move has put the authority and police officials on alert. In an effort to persuade the farmers, Noida Authority’s Additional CEO Sanjay Kumar Khatri and Chief Legal Officer Ravindra Prasad Gupta, along with DCP Harishchandar, ACP Manish Mishra, and ACP Rajnish Varma, arrived at the protest site. Discussions between farmers and officials took place for an hour at the protest site.
