In the village of Alchona in Bhimtal, on Tuesday evening, Nikita Sharma (22), who was cutting grass in the field, was attacked by a wild animal, resulting in her tragic death. Since the death of the young woman, there has been anger among the villagers and relatives towards the Forest Department and district administration. On Wednesday morning, angry villagers gathered at Khutani Chowk, seven kilometers away, carrying the corpse of the enraged rural woman. Villagers shouted slogans against the Forest Department along with the corpse of the woman.
