Amidst the ongoing disputes with India, Maldives President Mohamed Muzjju held talks with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, on Wednesday. Following the meeting, both countries signed agreements on 20 major deals, emphasizing the enhancement of bilateral relations. There is an expectation of further discussions, including a meeting with the Chinese Prime Minister and other senior officials, before President Muzjju returns to Male on January 12.
