Lucknow: A joint meeting of senior police officials of various border districts of UP and MP was held here on Monday in, which various issues related to law and order were discussed.
The meeting was held in the chairmanship of ADG Kanpur zone Alok Kumar in which senior officials from Kanpur, Jhansi, Lalitpur and Jalaun districts of UP along with those of Gwalior, Shivpuri, Datiya, Niwari, Sagar and Tikamgarh of MP participated.
During meeting, interstate border issues were discussed and how better coordination can be developed between the forces of the two states for smooth working of law and order. Discussions were also held to tackle criminal gangs who are operating in both the states. After the meeting, ADG Kanpur zone said, “ Discussions were held on important events scheduled in coming days, including consecration ceremony in Ayodhya followed by Lok Sabha elections, in which we require good coordination between the interstate forces.”
