The Nepalese government has requested Russia not to enlist Nepali citizens into its army. Simultaneously, Nepal has urged the repatriation of individuals who have already joined the Russian military and are currently fighting against Ukraine. Since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, approximately 200 Nepali citizens have joined the Russian army.
