Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has informed about receiving donations of about Rs 720 crore in 2022-23, which is more than four other national parties – Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Marxist Communist Party. This is five times more than the total amount received by the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and the National People’s Party (NPP).
