A new era of the Indian judicial system will commence from July 1st, replacing the adversarial criminal justice system with the Indian legal system. The government announced on Saturday the commencement date for three new criminal laws. It is worth mentioning that the Indian Evidence Act 2023, Indian Citizenship Security Act 2023, and Indian Penal Code 2023 will be implemented from July 1, 2024.
