New Delhi: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, BJP has dealt a significant political blow to the opposition coalition in the litmus test of the Rajya Sabha elections. Out of the 56 Rajya Sabha seats that were set to be vacant in April, BJP has secured victories on 30 seats, with 20 being uncontested. Additionally, victories in voting have been achieved on 10 seats. With this, the number of BJP MPs in the Rajya Sabha will rise to 97.
