Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge chaired a meeting of the Central Election Committee on Thursday, where the party’s top leadership deliberated on the candidates for 60 seats. Former party president Sonia Gandhi and organization secretary K.C. Venugopal were present at the meeting as members of the party’s Central Election Committee (CEC). Discussions were held regarding the candidates for seats in Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Telangana.
